What to keep in mind
This models 2026 federal wage rules and preliminary state estimates; some states use older schedules as a disclosed fallback. Assumes full-year wages, the same home and work state, standard deductions and taxpayers under 65. Credits, local taxes, pre-tax benefits, self-employment and other exclusions mean it is not suitable for filing or setting withholding. Read the state coverage notes in the calculator.
